Winter Solstice

I Am That Darkest Night

by Charles E S Fairey

On the darkest dark of the darkest night

I find mine own bright fire deep deep within

And she doth sing, and she doth sing

Come bathe in the internal fire of the delight

Amongst the stars on this the darkest night.

On the darkest dark of the darkest night

I find mine own bright fire deep deep within

And he doth sing, and he doth sing

Come follow me to the ends of the light

Amongst the angels on this the darkest night.

On the darkest dark of the darkest night

I find mine own bright fire deep deep within

And the gods doth sing, and the gods doth sing

Come dance with us to the centre of the twilight

Amongst the deities on this the darkest night.

On the darkest dark of the darkest night

I find mine own bright fire deep deep within

I have become that immortal flame that dances in delight

And now I Am that darkest night.
