The Tears Of Dendera

The Tears Of Dendera

by Charles E S Fairey

As God cried tears of blood

All He could hear was Dendera

The world had fatally failed Him

So He became the King of Terror

As He rose from the ash burning

A silence fell on all those in heaven

As He set fire to the earth and death

In horrific shock the friends and brethren

From the mighty divine pillar

Fell the Desolate One the Kraken

Even his Woman Clothed with the Sun

Couldn't stop the Almighty Red Dragon

And as He whipped up thunder and maelstrom

Across the oceans lands and seas

Set fire to time the sand and signs

Now the maddening crowd believes

But it was far too late for the crocodile had its flesh

And every heart and every soul nothing less

The Red Dragon the Kraken the Desolate One would take

Nothing less than the whole of the world upon its final stake

And as God cried tears of blood

All He could hear was Dendera

The world had fatally failed Him

So He became the King of Terror
