Deja Vu

Deja Vu

by Charles E S Fairey

The feeling of Deja Vu

The Future, nothing's new,

When the fabric of time breaks down

And within its moving hands we drown

I've seen this, I've felt this, I've lived this!

Cycles upon cycles, lives upon lives,

I've lived this, I've died this, I've perceived this!

Layers upon layers, clocks upon clocks,

The feeling of Deja Vu

The Future, nothing's new

I swear I've already been here before

Doorways upon wayes upon doors,

Why won't anyone believe me

When I Say What I See I Saw?

The Past, The Future, The Present, Timeless Perception

The Feeling of Deja Vu, Nothing's New, Endless Predestination,

As the hands upon clocks, clocks upon hands, weather and whine,

Our paths upon lives, lives upon paths, shiver and entwine,

What magic is this, eye upon eyes, that I've been here twice, thrice, even four or five,

Creation and Time, flies upon graves and graves upon flies, and it's just, lies upon lies,

The feeling of Deja Vu

The Future, nothing's new!
