Salvia Shamanica

Salvia Shamanica

by Charles E S Fairey

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

On the Night Train to the Andes

Superreal like Coleridge’s Ozymandias.

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

The tracks, golden serpent Mayan heads infinite

My surroundings all muddled indefinite.

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

Hanging from the carriage travelling

My faithful Tiger by my side loving,

While deeper into the Amazon hallucinating I goes

As my room into oblivion with me flows.

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

Salvia Divinorum

Intense Pandemonium,

Jump past the fretting to hyper shamanising

With Axis Mutatis upwards hyperrealising,

Another world phantasising

Another hidden realm hallucinating.

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

Salvia Divinorum

Intense Pandemonium,

The ever changing landscapes

The television doorway and music pulsating shapes,

The Night Train to the city of the skies

Each pipe full, my body and spirit flies.

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

Salvia Divinorum

Intense Pandemonium,

Soon back from each Amazonian mythic

But the trips were infinitely fantastic,

Pandemonium anxious clown tomorrows

Back to reality, the place where the cock crows,

Yet the flashbacks still occasionally come

In dreams and life, knowledge become.

Salvia Shamanica

Machu Picchu Phantasmia,

Salvia Divinorum

Intense Pandemonium,

Back from the realm of ideas

The place of the knowledge of seers,

Each trip I take

To that glistening sky lake

Where the gods were born

Where from eyes reality torn

On the Night Train to Machu Picchu

The place the ancient shamans infinitely knew,

I go deeper into Oblivia

That fruit, Sativa Shamanica

Doorway to Phantasmia.
