Words are mightier than the Sword

They reduce to nothing the many hoards

It’s in the music and the chords

They can sever even the Deathly cord,

For the Word is stronger than the sword.

The fiery tongue when in reverence sung

The prayer when at enemies swung

The Word is the Gift of the Lord

The Poet and Writer forever adored,

For the Word is stronger than the sword.

The Pen is mightier than the weapon

The Ink is sharper than the knife

The Speech is the Gift of Life

The Quill is sharp and sings like the harp,

For the Word is stronger than the sword.
